Argh this Van

Started the day at 5am, driving Julie to the Rochester for a wedding trip back west. Today is our 31st wedding anniversary and we promised to have a nice dinner down in Corning after she returns.

I stopped at a Home Depot in Rochester, drove to Syracuse to buy a used Steelcase Leap chair, then returned home. Later in the afternoon I try to start the van and… nothing. We’ve been somewhat used to this because the van can get into a weird state when it isn’t sure someone is in the van (our theory anyway). After much diagnostic work I decided I wasn’t going to be able to solve this myself. Tomorrow a flatbed tow vehicle will arrive to attempt a jump start. We’ll proceed from there.

We’ve had an amazing 10 months with the van but we are ready to part ways.
