Shoot. I was deep trimming a shrub here at Keuka and about two thirds of the way through one of my blue jay friends (I’ve been feeding them whole peanuts in the shell) got very pissed off at me.

I searched and searched and finally found a nest near the top of the shrub. The little guy is hiding out on the ground and I’m hoping the parents can see the fledgling through this. I’ve ceased my trimming activity.
