Scotland Golf Itinerary
Julie and I head to Scotland in a week, joining 14 other family and friends for two weeks of adventures. I shall play golf.

Here’s the itinerary:
- Saturday June 28: Taynuilt, 9 holes on day of arrival. No tee time, I’m just showing up. This is my “stay awake until late” therapy. I might be stranded there with no vehicle (others are headed into Oban) but I can easily do the 0.7 mile walk back to our lodging.
- Sunday June 29: Glencruitten in Oban. This is Bobby Mac’s home course.
- Monday, June 30: Traigh 9 holes on the way to Isle of Skye. Julie will likely walk with me.
- Tuesday, July 1: Isle of Skye Golf Club, 9 holes.
- Wednesday, July 2: No golf.
- Thursday, July 3: A BIG DAY of golf north of Inverness: 18 holes at Tain at 10am, whisky tasting at Glenmorangie at 3:30pm, then 9 holes at Portmahomack to finish in the early evening.
- Friday, July 4: 18 holes at Fortrose.
- Saturday, July 5: No golf.
- Sunday, July 6: 18 holes at Pitlochry on the transit day from Inverness to Fife.
- Monday, July 7: No golf.
- Tuesday, July 8: The St. Andrews day where we will show up early (8:30am?) to try and play the New Course. Our fallback will be one of the other St. Andrews properties (I’d prefer Jubilee). We will do the Himalayas putting course in the early evening.
- Wednesday, July 9: 18 holes at Balcomie.
- Thursday, July 10: No golf.
- Friday, July 11: Final golf at Kingarrock, This is hickory golf and will be a fun final test.
