Long Napa Weekend

We returned to Napa for a long weekend and some family time.

We’ve had amazing weather here, a nice break for what has been a cold and rainy spring in western NY. We arrived in time on our first day to pick up Rory from school. He recently graduated to the bigger toddler group, full of other walkers.

Julie and I used our days while Rory was in school and Jacob/Kaitlin working to do some yard work. Deadheading the rose trees and some serious hedge trimming. The recently renovated front and side yards are looking great.

A nice unplanned coincidence was Julie’s brother Mike and wife Britt being in town for a visit. We’ve had fun showing them around town and doing some hiking in nearby Skyline Park.

Super early flight home tomorrow; need to schedule an Uber for about 2:15am. Won’t see Rory and family until late August. He will probably have so many words by then!
