Before leaving Pacific Grove, Julie and I did a beach walk then drove most of the 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach.

I opted out of playing any of the public options on the peninsula this time. I want to return with friends and family for a special event. Still, I wanted to get the lay of the land and see how the many courses (including uber exclusive Cypress Point) align with each other. The drive is a great way to do this, and it was an easy choice to spend the $11.25 for the entry.

We stopped at a few ocean viewpoints and at the Pebble Beach links, walking to the pro shop and hanging out at the 18th green for a while.

Jacob and Kaitlin will be here in June for the USGA women’s open. Jealous.
