Yesterday I played a brief solo game of Kernstown.

I’ve been enjoying the Blind Swords System quite a lot this year, primarily through remote play on VASSAL with my friend Allen. This is very light wargaming, almost beer and pretzels light, with enough chaos that you cannot get too invested in your plans. Adaptability is key.

Next week I’ll be in Sunriver Oregon and will play a full campaign of Kernstown (maybe the second battle?).
