Julie and I took a small detour on our way back to Oregon from Keuka Lake. An old friend from high school invited us to join him at a very special place: Lake O'Hara in the Canadian rockies. We had perfect weather and an amazing visit. More Canada is in our future.
We made the relatively easy border crossing from Namibia back into South Africa and started our journey south along the country’s west coast.
We closed out our Namibia adventure with more dunes, a beautiful mountain valley drive, and a deep canyon.
We left Etosha to begin our whirlwind dash across Namibia, from north to south.
Our first big adventure in Namibia was a three night stay in Etosha National Park.
