We are hanging out in Sedona for a week with friends and family. People are mixing work and fun and we managed to sneak in a hike to Devil’s Arch this evening.

We took the “easy” (for our car) access and parked at the Mescal Trailhead. It adds 2 miles of hiking but doesn’t require high clearance to get there.

The light is magical near sunset as you can see. Didn’t hurt that the full moon is looming and we had clear skies.

We left our house at 4:40pm and we’re back by 7pm to cook some dinner. It was a brisk hike out and we made it to car just as darkness set in.
